A monthly average of the year of 2007 had 15,960 class of China-Hong Kong direct bus carrying 976,380 passengers to and from Huanggang checkpoint. This increased to 18,450 class/month to pick up 1,122,837 passengers during the long vacation.In 2007, the monthly average had 1,031,151 Hong Kong private cars via the road between Hong Kong and the mainland. The majority were the people of Hong Kong, who were factory owner, management and etc in China. Other people drive the private car to Mission Hills Golf Club for sports.
The monthly average was about 329,000 passengers of tour groups of Chinese citizens and the free package exit from Huanggang Port to Hong Kong. It was increased to nearly 400,000 passengers during the long holidays.
